This week, it’s “Harden My Heart” by Quarterflash.
The one and only single from this Pacific Northwest band to hit the Top 10, “Harden My Heart” hit #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in early 1982. It also features one of the best saxophone solos of the ’80s, a trend that would continue through the rest of the decade.
And the video is a classic example of early ’80s video insanity, when NO ONE knew what to do with this new medium yet!
