This week, it’s “Tainted Love” by Soft Cell.
British synth duo Soft Cell took a 1965 R&B song by Gloria Jones and re-made it into an early ’80s classic.
The song reached #8 in the U.S. in the summer of 1982 and spent a then-record 43 weeks on the charts.
